Hi !
One more thing (cos i missed the previous discussion), how will you verify the old inps on marp if this rule is inserted in marp ??
Maybe you will delete all... No ?

Sawys is Sébastien GIRAUD, admin of MAMESCORE, member of MARP, TWIN GALAXIES, RETRO UPRISING and ex-member of JVRM

I doubt there would be much deleting. Basicly you've done wrong if you feel like it. ie mapping T&F buttons 1&2 to one key etc.sawys wrote:Hi !

If you have gained unfair advantage, your recording will be deleted...as allways at marp.

What is your marp username kuba?!!!!!
Some new registered forum users. Maybe we should have this poll all over again, so that you don't submit anonymously...but say yes or no at new/this thread...
Code: Select all
BenGold 23 Mar 2005 1
haynor Poland 26 Mar 2005 0
apatia77 26 Mar 2005 0
BlackTMH 26 Mar 2005 2
kuba Poland 26 Mar 2005 1
In the past members have been allowed to keep their vote private, and I have no problem with it remaining so. If we want to consider changing that, I suppose the membership should discuss it.The TJT wrote:What is your marp username kuba?!!!!!

The only requirement for voting in a Regulation Play poll, is that one be a MARP member and have submitted at least one recording.
BenGold is not a MARP member. He has not voted and should not vote.
haynor is presumably haynor@HotTeam.pl and if so voted rightfully
apatia77 sounds familiar, but I can find no MARP member with that in the member name. This needs to be checked.
BlackTMH needs to let us know what his MARP member name is.
kuba has not voted.
It should also be pointed out that General Voting Procedure A.3) reads:
Code: Select all
3. All votes will be passed if it achieves a majority vote of the general public with the exception of a vote going against a standing rule (for example, all games will be one credit in length), then it must be passed by a 2/3 vote of the general public.
Also: In my opinion, even if this vote fails, the examples Tommi gave are still against the rules for reasons I have pointed out previously.
AND NOTE WELL THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE GOLDEN ERA GAME OF THE WEEK: since I consider this illegal by MARP's rules, it is also illegal for GEGOTW submissions. Now that this has been made clear, any submission purported to be for GEGOTW consideration that violates this will result in permanent ineligibility for GEGOTW prizes for the submitter. Any such entries made before now are granted amnesty. I may discuss this further in the GEGOTW forum.

Weehawk, I deleted poll allready. I didn't see your reply. eh...
At old forum we had usually votes, that players knew who the voter was.
I think you should have courage to say either yes or no openly.
This is not about persons but simply about general game rules.
Nobody should take these kind of things personally. What if we start to discuss politics or sports then!
Now, nobody is going to be shot for a no!
Any ideas for a new poll? HUH!
edit: Yes, this is majority vote.

And four of those are Polish AFAIK. Did they come here "by themselves" or did someone tip them about this poll? Is this really fair? I could go to some Finnish forum and ask some people to submit a recording and then vote for the option I like... I don't think it's ok to affect the outcome of the poll in this way.The TJT wrote:What is your marp username kuba?!!!!!

As long as they were MARP members before the poll started, I don't see any way this could be considered illegitimate. And four of those are Polish AFAIK.
