WCC5 week 6 : TRALLY

A racing game again for week 6 : trash rally.
You can start to train now but we will be able to upload for WCC only tonight at midnight.
Thanks to respect the format required in "special rules" for description box.

The challenge : manage to finish the 5 first races with 5 first places (=100 pts) AND finish the 6th race and the game ; these 2 tasks has been achieved on Marp, but not yet in the same input.
My advice : trally-a is only one race : the 6th ... start to train there before trying to complete the game.

Phil, have a mistake in your TRALLY score system...

If the time is mensured in M'S"C, in YOUR system, the time lost in each stage is:
C + (S x 100) + (M x 60 x 100).
The correct is:
C + (S x 60) + (M x 60 x 60).
It is due the fact in this game the C digits rolls still 60 (00), and not still 100!

What is the problem?
If the player 1 did 1'10"59 + 1'13"59, so the score is 185582 in YOUR system (other is 191302).
If the player 2 did 1'11"00 + 1'14"00, so the score is 185500 in YOUR system (other is 191300).
In your system, the player 2 is 82 points (=0'00"82) worst than player 1, when the correct would be 2 points (=0'00"02).
In my system, the current 1st placed is not 542676, but is 565516!

Phil, I think you need to recalculate and change ASAP the system, to avoid future problems.

Phil, have a mistake in your TRALLY score system...

F***, you're right : centiseconds roll to 60 in this game.
But the mistake is not in my scoring system, it is only in the game : there was a dull programer who didn't know that centiseconds could take 100 values (lazier than dull according to Barry : most arcade hardware is 60Hz or thereabouts, so just 60 would be much easier to code).

Despite that, at first sight I'm not in favour to change scoring : all timed racing games are scored like that on Marp, I'm not sure we should change that because of a bug. Plus the remaining time during the race still rolls in correct centiseconds, and final times sounds more like a conversion.
And I'm not sure applying your scoring could change major things (scores, but not ranks).

I dont know if in the current situation will change ranks, but in some situations, will... and is needed to make changes BEFORE future problems and doubts...
Please consult TJT and the other WCC players.

That bug won't change player positions easily. Maybe it would be best to just keep current scoring as it is.

So you had to post there yesterday (like Nanni & Valter) or to mail me your input ; a current habit in all Marp tourneys in case of server down.
I can't check ranks for Trally now (because of the server down) but I'm not even sure this input is changing your rank (not in the 4 firsts I'm sure)
