Max-a-Flex games

Post by Donut »

In version .89 there are four new games using the "Max-a-Flex" system: Astro Chase, Boulder Dash, Bristles, and Flip & Flop. Max-a-flex is a pay-as-you-go game system like Play-Choice 10, but one coin only buys you 30 seconds of play here, and if the time runs out you can't continue. [you can set the dips to make it up to 480 seconds per coin.] I'd say we make special rules here to play with unlimited coins so we can have legit recordings here.

Also, Flip & Flop seems to be very easy; it's a Q*bert like puzzle game with kangaroos and monkeys being chased by zoo keepers and nets. I'd make a rule here to limit the lives, because you earn an extra life with each board cleared.

Flip and Flop and Boulder Dash were two games I bought on floppy disk for my old Atari 800XL computer. It's only been about 15 years since I played them.

The Editors have decided that we'll use unlimited lives in these Max-A-Flex games. So just insert a lot of credits, and play on until you lose your last life.

Special Rules have been set up.

That is of course Credits :)

Better check the Special Rules, if I made the same mistake there :)
