How do you get the secret temple bonus in Rygar?

How do you get the secret temple bonus in Rygar?

I've managed to get it from time to time, but I just can't figure out EXACTLY how to get it.

Does the score/time left have anything to do with anything?
Does the times you pull back/down matter? Or is i just timing?

I've managed to get it without pressing the jump button at the same time so I guess it's just WHEN you pull the joystick that matters. Or is it?

Do you mean the 10k bonus and the end of each stage?

Then, yes, the hundreds digit must match the last seconds digit. I think.
eg: Score = 145,600, Time = 26:30 <-- match

(Make a note that I am not a Rygar player or anything :))

Barry is correct. To get the bonus pull joystick back-down-diagonal whilst timer is preferably zero...much easier to judge this way.

And by "just as you enter the temple", do you mean as he puts the thing he lifts down or what? The times I've gotten the bonus, I've felt like I've timed it exactly to when the thing he holds hits the ground.

And I don't really get the time vs score thing either. It's the hundreds that count? So if I have 35090 pts I could enter with zero time and collect a cool 10K bonus?

I've read some over at http://www.rygar.info about the score but I think it was unclear still.

Start holding Down-Left once the game takes over control of the character and the round clear music starts. Which is before he lifts the.... thing.

From third digit from end xxxDxx is depend where you get extra life :wink:
This info not exist on gamefaqs.
