shngmtkb - How can I play faster??

Shanghai Matekibuyuu (shngmtkb) was a new game in .80. I have an 800Mhz PC (which is fast enough for most games) but I can only play this at about 35-40%. Is there a way to make it play closer to regulation speed?

I plan to upload an inp of 48,800 but I'm sure it doesn't qualify if the speed is 36.9%...

ZN (PSX-based) hardware... try 3GHz. :)
