Yeah... this guy who goes by the nickname sdkess beat the previous record of 5:17 by three seconds. You can take a look at the video here:

For the record, this is probably a good time trial we could do one day... or a game of the week bit...

Too bad it won't "officially" beat the record, it will be recorded as a MAME feat, not an NES feat. And it's PC10 anyway. :)

I would like to thank Brian McLean for the link he gave several months ago in his LiveJournal when he was doing his Super Monkey Ball thing.
