Can anyone who knows more about this game than me, confirm or otherwise whether or not the all clear trick was used a few times or not somewhere around level 30 or 35?
The inp will playback fine in MAME 0.80 for those who have updated their Neo Geo ROMs.

From the Special Rules for this game:
What is an "all clear conversion" or an "all clear opportunity"?
What is "converting something" and "comboing it"?
I'm just familiar with the basics of this game. Somebody care to break that down for me?BANNED TECHNIQUE : regardless of playing mode, it's possible to use all clear conversions to a player's advantage. Normally you have to wait 10 levels before an all clear opportunity appears. However, a large number of points can be obtained by repeating this process: converting something, comboing it, immediately taking it back, and then quickly recoverting it back. The sequence is typically performed within a matter of seconds.

The files attached to this post are inp-files showing the "banned all clear technique" and the "conversion technique" used in the hi-score inp-file in question (between level 30 and 35).
The attached inp-files were recorded with MAME32 V.078.
So for my understanding these two techniques are rather different - and only one of them is actually banned...
