Re: MAME 0.80 Game Changes
Question about deletions...what it means, what is actually done?
I see there are still scores for those "deletions" at Marp +I can submit with mame78 AND MAME80? So what is deleted...and why?
Have those been removed from mame, but not from marp?(which is ok, don't want recordings deleted if clone is removed from mame, if that is the case maybe there could be a special rule that tells us when the game was still in mame.)
But then why can I submit with wolf80?...
Only thing I can see changed with these "deleted" games is that there is no picture ie "no shot available"...why?
Also they are not linked as Galaga clones anymore...when I click Galaga or Galaga clone picture I should get all Galaga clones +original listed(which is very nice feature of Marp).
Maybe this is because those games "deleted" don't have picture now and linking is somehow connected to that
So is everything ok with these deletions and what actually changed and why? Is there need for "deletions"???
I'd understand if shortname of the game was changed at mame and old name would be deleted at marp after creating new name for changed, but now I'm all
s
Thank you,
TJT
P.S.
"changed the short name from 'galagads' to 'deleted': "Edit your recording's short name to be 'deleted' to get rid of it"
you already have 1551010, which is higher than 100
Changes applied successfully."

Wondered what damn score is that 1551010 for galagads, never submitted at galagads before...So it must be my highest "deleted" score, hehehe
