Har har, very punny :P

I still can't get sonicwi2 running on v0.74u1. I probably should just use an older MAME, then... but which one? When was sonicwi2 changed?

Never mind; I've finally figured it all out and remedied the problem. All that's left now is to put a one-credit first loop clear on INP; should be quite a challenge

Bummer, I wish I could've just edited my above post with all this. But editing isn't allowed here, it seems...

Grr... I kinda doubt it but would the INP run fine under, say, AlphaMAME? Or must it be the exact version of MAME that made the INP?
Here:

http://marp.retrogames.com/exe/audiow32.zip

Uncompress it into your mame folder.
This link don't work on my computer. I don't know why. But I have link to Polish web with all dll's: http://www.mamehot.net/emu/dlls.zip

Because ZTNet doesn't allow off-network linking. Just put the URL in your browser and hit return.
