They aren't original, they're bootlegs, and they don't work in MAME eitehr. They work in Nebula though.

4in1boot, ncv2 (plus ncv2j) and 3in1semi obviously need splits. We already know what to split 4-in-1 into, but I'm not sure which games are on 3-in-1 Semicom, since I never played it. Namco Classics Volume 2 (great game by the way) should be split into (arrange mode only): Dig Dug, Rally-X, and Pac-Man. Anything else need a splitting?

About the Namco Collection games, why can't we have splits for original mode? They deserve it just as if it was another clone (look at the millions of space invaders clones).

And booyah, Beatmania! And so many other games!

Please do note that most of the games added since 0.74u1 are formerly testdrivers, and thus may not work well, if at all.

I made a goof. It appears that I confused 4-in-1 bootleg with Fun 4-in-1. Since none of the above work, it's best to archive them for now.

Cua for the volume 1 set it was decided to only split and allow the special arrangement of the game and not the original.

The original wouldn't be a clone, but likely exactly the pac-man or digdug etc. we have through the regular namco rom sets for these games.

Why do you want the redundancy?

on the subject of splits, I'm wondering if the Beatmania's will need to be split for the Expert courses. Each version has several 5-song courses that are unique to each game and can make for vastly different scoring. A few courses get high score ranking lists, so it would make sense to split for those courses. Expert has a much better scoring system than the regular game anyway.

Unfortunately, being on dialup and having no easy way to get those huge-ass .chd's, I can't find out what courses are used for each game :(

no, the only working st-v game is still hanagumi.

testdrivers were just enabled and flagged as not working since we decided the testdriver system was pointless, 99% of that list are non-working games that have been in the source for a while.
