This site organises virtual races in real time. It's very interesting and funny ( much more than the keystrokes counting, indeed ! ), and it could interest some of you. You register your boat, and you have to choose your course ( your direction ) and your sails. You can also use weather forecasts to choose your strategy.
Currently, you will find 4 races :
*the first 2 ( atlantic challenge and atlantic express ) are always opened, you start when you want, you can train and try to do the best time.
* the 3rd is Casablanca-Nuuk, the last boats arrive now, it's closed ( I took the 14th place in that race )
* the 4th race is Tolyo-San Francisco starts next tuesday 07th october. So, will you join me in that race ? My boat is the "lolo" . Already 300 boats are registered.
If you want some further informations or help, tell me.
Most of the site is in fench, but some pages are translated in english. And I know that there are a lot of foreign participants ( lots of italian, spanish, english people, and the last winner is a swedish guy ... Maybe it's QRS ? ). If you click on documentation, then you have an english vesion of the help page.

Well, I visited the page but I didn't registered because I don't have any idea of sailing and I saw something about preparing your boat.
Besides stupid keystrokes doesn't consume any of my spare time (not much lately) once it is installed.
There are a lot of games over there and you shouldn't expect a lot of people going to every one you talk about here. I know one of kicking faults quite funny at http://www.robertobaggio.com/games , I have been told of one of ping-pong, there are a lot of games of strategy where you play against other humans (I remember archmage, it has been some time down but I think it should be working now http://archmage.magewar.com/archmage . There is another about world war, another more medieval named utopia http://www.mpogd.com/games/game.asp?ID=111 , I believe, and one or two about spaceships and aliens http://www.galacticconquest.co.uk/gc/i. ... linkmisc16), etc, etc...
If you look here http://www.mpogd.com/games/massively.asp?first=A perhaps you find one interesting. I was sick playing archmage three years ago.

Laga is in a "sailing fever" by the moment ; he spend a lot of time on this site and show me how to do ; I'm dummy in sailing but preparing the boat is easy (only 2 or 3 parameters to check, and it takes you only 1 or 2 minutes per day to check them to find the best parameters for the faster speed) ; the site is quite funny I must admit
