Games that allow round select

I've been on MARP forever (and until recently, hadn't been on here in a couple of years!!) and just realized that I don't really know the answer to this question - on a game that allows you to select the starting round, unless otherwise specified in the "special rules", can you start wherever you want?

Thanks! I assumed that to be the case, but with all of the exceptions made for certain games, I thought I'd clarify.

in cases where you couldn't there would be a special rule for the game...so always check for any special rule.

if no special rules then yes, can select whatever you want.

yes, buttermaker, I was just confirming that he was correct in a few more words than you chose.

Fine, maybe my 2 line answer could have been "yes"...but not a big deal just echoing the wording back.

For whatever reason though the other replies weren't showing up to me at the time....likely a damn cache issue so I wasn't seeing the replies before.
