Double Dragon 3 - The Rosetta Stone (bootleg)

Post by destructor »

Hi players.

I play(finish) and analyse Double Dragon 3 (bootleg) from 1st on MARP.
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/1/5/7/sp ... _win61.zip

1. I play and finish this game. I have more better times left on stages than player from 1st. After enter to Time Mode (dipswitches) I have less :!: :!: :!: score about 200 points.
2. I analysed it and: time after enter to Test Mode (dipswitches) don't display sum time left. This display total time which player spend on this game included black passage between stages (about 2,3 seconds), and!!! time which is counted when is displayed continue timer (about 22 seconds).
3. Time in bootleg version is displayed incorrect.
4. Score from 1st is incorrect.
5. There is only one method to count correct check time left: use external timer (for example - clock).
6. If not use external timer to check this time I think that game must be archived.

Thanks. And sorry for English.

Better to archive it,there's no security in using external clocks...
