Sega Megatech

Now just how are we going to handle this?

This system is very much like Playchoice-10 in that it runs console games controlled by a timer.

Should we use one credit set at the maximum possible time settings (1 coin/15 credits @ 7'30" per credit)? Or should Free Play be allowed?

Or maybe some other method?

I think that every game needs it's timing,7:30*15 is a loooong time and some games don't have any timer, examples that comes in mind are E-Swat and Mystic Defender/Kujako-Oh 2,there are many others.
Other games requires ruling to avoid big leeching(Sonic/Sonic 2 anyone?) and others that absolutely requires Free Play or a big time(Super Monaco GP World Championship mode).

Are we talking about 7,5 minutes *15, or hours. Does not matter, freeplay ok and simplest.

Which titles/games does this megatech arcade emulate now?

Are roms same as for some emu roms for sega mega drive...if no...where to get'em? If yes...where to get'em

The ROMS are different from the Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis ones,in fact they have minor modifications for being more Arcade-ish.
I have doubts for the Free Play for some games,i.e if we agree Free Time for Sonic we will have after a day tons of recordings with huge leeching(it isn't hard at all to gather 100 rings in 10 minutes)...

I believed that the fourth level in E-Swat is harder in the Mega-tech version, but probably it's just me that I'm becoming old...
BTW does Mega Drive use sound registers?
