Alphamame config.

Post by MrXanthis »

Hey peeps.

I jsut downloaded the new Alphamame32 GUI verison and I cant get the damn program to find my HotRod Joystick. There is no directory structure inside the zip, and when you run it it creates 2 files... 1. file folder called "Folders" and 2. a file called "Mame32ui.cfg".

Its driving me mad.

Please send me any info youmight have.

Thanks.

PS. my stick works just fine in any other version of mame.

Should be absolutely identical to regular MAME32.

Alphamame32 0.70 doesn't remember my foldersettings or changes to default game settings like joystick/mouse.

Is there an INI subfolder in the same folder as the MAME32 executable?

...then create one. MAME32 will store settings there.

Ok i fixed it...

Post by MrXanthis »

Ok I found a fix. I downloaded version 71 of Mame32 and used all the directories from that zip and then unzipped alpha mame32 into the same directory. Problem solved. I can see my HotRod once again :) WOOHOO!

Thanks guys and gals

I just dont understand why alphamame32 doesnt already come with all these directories and stuff IN the zip file already. Seems pretty stupid to me and a waste of my time to track down the solution when I could have been playing all this time damnit! lol, I know I know i could have used a diferent version. Just wanted to bitch :)
