Pausing: actually it wasn't really enforced because we couldn't really know if someone paused or not with regular mame. So in that you can kind of read that as marp allowing it. But since we can detect it reliably and securley it's not allowed.

It definitely wasn't allowed in tournaments.

Ehhhhrr?? Ok excuse me, but I´m 99% sure that I have seen a vote that passed for NOT allowing pause at all in games. Regardless of tournaments or regular uploads. I will see if I can dig up the old link from the board....

I would like to see that but i think it doesn't exist :) I remember several players admiting to pausing in the last century and nothing was done about it because there was no rule... this was a long time ago and my memory isn't so good.

Just some talk about it, but I think we all agree that it should not be allowed:

If nothing is found I hope that the editors takes their responsibillity and just make that "rule" vissible on the rules page. I don´t think that anyone really wants pause to be allowed right? Or polls about it.

This post implies that Pause is ok, if used to answer phone, etc... But it is a form of cheating. Is also says that pausing is strictly not allowed for tg recordings!
