Whimper whimper... no Alphamame32 69.1 yet... ah well... I know it will come when it's ready and I thank you very much for doing this Barry... if there was honestly a way I could help relieve the burden and do some of this myself, I would for the good of this community.

something just feels good about the linux68 build, no slowdowns yet... maybe they got it right or it's just the -mathalon option. still wish i could run in full screen mode in xmame, then i would never need to use windows again :)

You've tried the -fullscreen option, right? It uses Xv hardware stretching to stretch the image over the whole screen. No resolution switching needed. :) Unless, of course, you hate the mouse pointer still hanging about...

-fullscreen, i think so, but it does that fuzzy pixel thing that just makes it look awfull kind of like what -direct3d does or -hws, playing a 320x200 game in a 1200x1024 video mode is kinda junky. But maybe that was something else i tried. otherwise if i use -x11 1 it still crashes the X server (doesn't crash my computer i found out recently but i still have to reboot because the keyboard+mouse control are gone.)
