Post by destructor »

Please archive mahjongs: "srmp2" and "mjyuugi" because sets of tiles in this mahjongs are constant at each time if you identical play. Look my inp to this mahjongs and try play identical if you not believe  I can play and play and ...

Identical? Bah

Post by Mr. Kelly R. Flewin »

I dunno... wouldn't this just end up adding to the realm of.. Marathoning the bejeezus outta the game? It may be identical, but it will take a while to memorize everything from anew...

Marathon the game... would get boring for the poor folks watching the same things over and over... but then again... how much of a life do you need to be lacking to play for 2 hours, be beaten, and then play 3 hours more nonstop marathon just to beat that score only to be beaten again and....... well you get the idea... it's amusing though to know people would try to do that.. [sure as hell not me..]
Just a gaming junkie looking for his next High Score fix.

Well, there's always trying to find the best possible scoring, seeing as one change to the play will make a (albeit small) change to what you may get. You don't have to play it the exact same way every time (although, with mahjong, you are rather limited in that respect).

Upload an 8 hour recording, and we'll see. ;)

Then each player (even this who don't know how play on mahjong) can make score to 1st if only he look inp from 1st and will be play identical.
It's not just.

That's a good point, but it would be one sad person that would do that. Not that some certain people would attempt it. :)

Start a poll, and see how far that goes.

I think it's no more patterned versus a game like LodeRunner where it's just figuring out patterns to properly clear the board. Once you have figured one out for a board then in future games it's pretty easy to duplicate it.

and same as Lemmings (prototype) as well, I guess.

In that case, I'd say 'No' to archive these sort of games. But, maybe the first player to complete such games should get special recognition(?!)

In mahjong 'ponchin' sets of tiles are constant too.
Mahjong isn't game where you must use you dexterity. Suffice write to paper combination from 1st and play identical. Then all players will be have 1st.

srmp4 seems to have pre-set hands which, while being selected randomly, is still just a matter of memorising what to do for each hand as it appears.

I don't know exactly what we should do ; the only thing I remember is that we already archived by the pass (a long time ago) a game because of non-random issue (it was lottofun)

Maybe the best thing to do is to archive them temporarily till the random problem is fixed (I can't believe this was like that in arcade) ; or simply not play them !

Donut's description:

Donut's description:
198300 + 198300 + 198300 + 249900 + 118400 + 1000. Copied destructor's moves on first set of girls. Second "trio" on second set needs some work.
I think these games should be archive (ponchin, ponchina).
