Sorry, Newbie question.

Where can I find the setup requirements for a particular game?

For example:
How should I setup Star Wars, skill level, and bonus shield?

Do you just use the factory defaults for these games?

Thanks in advance!

If the game uses DIP switches for settings, then whatever MAME defaults to should be used.

If the game uses NVRAM to store settings, then use the factory defaults. Note that there is a rule at MARP that forbids the use of NVRAM, which must be removed before recording and playback. With NVRAM removed, these game will usually default to factory presets.

In either case, you are entitled to use harder settings, or TG settings, if you so wish.
