Works here. MAME 0.59, Win32 CLI, no sound, no NVRAM.

Strange.
Still can't get it to playback here. Ken defeats Chun-Li without any problems in first fight.
Well, as long as someone can play it back...

You are using MAME 0.59 and not 0.61, right? The first fight was against Guile, I think.

Tried both 0.61 and 0.59. Always Ken in first fight. Maybe it's XP that's messing things up.
I confirmed your 0.61 recording without problems, though.

Abbe are you using xp and dosmame with sound? I can only get dos mame to barely work with out sound on xp. my new machine's 98 works pretty much ok, and my old machine loved dos mame. But i'm really interested if you can get xp to work with dosmame sound on.
*****
btw this plays back fine with out sound and cli mame59

Sorry, can't help you on that one.
I only run dosmame without sound on XP. It works, but it takes a fast computer.
On the few occasions I need to run dosmame with sound I do that on an old win95 machine.

I find that after running dmame61.exe on my XP computer, the video goes haywire after MAME exits until I change the resolution of my screen. Anyone else get this?
