Things I need to do for these forums:
-- Add Online/Offline display on topic view (COMPLETE)
-- Add Watch This Forum links
-- Add Attachment mod
-- Make the Old Board Archive searchable (COMPLETE)
-- Set up various Ranks, which depend on how many posts a user has made (COMPLETE)
-- Add Forum Statistics (COMPLETE)
Anything else? Check http://www.phpbb.com/mods to see if there is a mod that would be useful for this site, and I'll see about adding it -- once I have time, that is.

I just performed that - changing the board link to here. I said I would do that March 12th....... today.

I used to have an "Ancient History" link on the main page of these forums, but it got lost when I had to restore from a backup. I'll work on getting the old boards searchable on here as soon as I can. I'm not sure offhand how the searching works with phpBB yet, but it shouldn't be too difficult to fix up.Chad wrote:yeah, i'd say do away with the old banner board link and make this board THE board link and only have the greenspun link in a location far far away, but still accessable on say the Help page.
This shouldn't be too difficult to set up - I'll work on that when I add the rest of these mods. The timing is bad though - I'm out of town all this week and the next, just home on the weekends (when I don't have a lot of time to spare as it is).Phil Lamat wrote:yes : automatic mailing
multiple options allowed in the voting boxes.
like I could do two yes/nos on two motions in one thread. Would save posts that way

Here's a good one:
Amount of time remaining in the poll and if it's expired or not. I think one vote expired, but there's no indication if it really has or not.

Yeah, the poll option does need a lot of work. There isn't even an easy way to see who voted (other than looking directly at the database, which only I can do). Go take a look on the phpBB mods forum and see if there is anything in development like that.gameboy9 wrote:Here's a good one:

Seymour, just wanted to let you know, this board kicks *ASS*.
GB9 had a good idea that I think should be implemented, and shouldn't be that hard to do.
