Time to vote for the next assistant web maintainer

Well... Zwaxy hasn't done anything, so what I'm going to do is call a vote.

There are three candidates selected by the editors and myself as to who the next web maintainer will be. Skito, Barry Rodewald, and J.D. Lowe have been nominated. (Should any of you three not wish to take the responsibility, feel free to back out at any time.)

In order to vote, you must follow the general election guidelines:

1. You must have been a member since January 1, 2002
2. You must have submitted a recording for at least 1% of the total MAME games (34)
3. You must have submitted a recording in the months in April and May.

So... what say ye? All votes will be submitted to gameboy9@marpirc.net - I'm hereby sworn to secrecy, and all that stuff.

This vote will expire on June 7, 2002 at 2359 GMT.

Yeah, and especially, what happens if none of them want to do this job? Do we force one of them into it, or do we then open it up to the general MARP membership?

I think i'll bow out and let someone who would fullfill the position better (put wittier comments on the page). I (and barry who can't be more wittier, endorsement, wink) have our hands full keeping track of newbie (and intermediate alike) nvram issues

Note that I was also candidate as I told Gameboy, Pat and Zwaxy in private email ... where my candidature has gone ???
