Pengo - TG vs. default

Seeing as how it's a bit harder to get higher scores on Pengo using the default settings than with TG settings (default starts with 3 lives, TG starts with 5, but that's the only difference), it seems a little unfair that people should be allowed to use TG settings that are easier than the defaults.

Then why are you not changing your settings to TG settings Matt?

Some of the TG settings for games are 5 men.A few of them like Pengo and Scramble makes it easier that the default settings, but most of them like Joust and qbert are there to prevent marathon. Nothing to worry about since you too are allowed to use those settings

Uh, the TG settings for Pengo do allow bonus lives. If they didn't (which would be a good idea as well), I wouldn't have bothered with the poll.

Can I ask you where you got sources? In other words, what webpage did you, Matt, research that TG is two more lives than default, but still has extra lives, and you, Kale, research that TG is 5 lives w/ no bonus lives?
