Incorrect submissions on MARP - How to deal with it

Post by francoisadt1 »

Hi Regulators

I notice that their were submissions on
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-mad
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-mpa
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-pir
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-pca
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabco-msp
which given the gamer unfair advantage over gamers that do submit the correct settings on a track.

First question: How and were do one adjudicate (accept or reject) submissions here on MARP?
I do not see any options on the screen. However on the heading do show "unconfirmed".

How do one either confirm or reject submissions here?

Second question:
Therefore all fast mode submissions on superabc type tracks should be submitted under a new track for each
for fast mode and not under slow/normal speed settings.

Who do one request to create additional fast mode tracks here on MARP for games?

Please create fast mode tracks for:
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-mad-fast
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-mpa-fast
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-pir-fast
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabc-pca-fast
http://replay.marpirc.net/r/superabco-msp-fast

"Confirmed" means the INP is able to be played back to the claimed score. Only the 1st place scores get additional scrutiny about specific rules and required settings etc. In this case, if fast shoot was actually used, then they will be moved to the newly created splits.

Added [Fast Shoot] splits for:
superabc
superabco

Why the "extension" is called "fast shoot"?

There is no shooting in the game just "fast speed"

Because you used the phrase "fast shoot". #-o I'm going to drop the "shoot" from all the descriptions.

Just add an 'f' at the end of the ROMset name.

Apologies.
I assume there are a couple of scores that can't be moved to the fast track because I've already posted higher scores - if it's easier to just zero them for now, I'm OK with that. Actually I think it's just the superabc-upm score that's a problem now.

Although I did just find this post... http://forums.marpirc.net/viewtopic.php ... abc#p57767
I feel slightly less embarrassed now!
