The Game: Heart Attack

Reward: $25 (usd)

Deadline for submission to MARP: June 30, 2006 2359 hours GMT

Further Bounty: none

A 1983 offering from Century Electronics. Their last game released apparently, and not surprisingly. They appear to be a little behind the curve on this one. This is pretty primitive for 1983.

Good luck finding any information about the game. I think they originally meant to release it with the title "A Maze Zing", but canceled and released it later with a different name.

NotMan submitted a recording during the previous week in which he deliberately killed off his lasty few men. In case the difficulty doesn't ramp up enough after that, we will be using the standard one hour limit. (Tough for me to tell...Stage 5 is impossible for me.)

Random prize: One gamer who submits a recording on this title this week, chosen randomly from those who do, will receive a Dwayne Richards mousepad:

This is a real collector's item, because the world record it cites has since been broken by Robert Griffin (whose face has yet to be plastered all over every manner of promotional item possible).

Use WolfMAME .101 or .106

On Deck game: Marine Date

The picture was taken right after he was told his face will be on every manner of promotional item possible.

And he's confident that destructor is not somewhere in Poland slaving over a laptop, trying to figure out how to score the maximum points possible in 216,000 frames?

Maybe today I will start to play on this game. No time in previous week. I didn't watch NotMan replay. Is it 1 hour replay?

Yeah! I'm confident that Destructor will try to beat my score since that we played head to head on Woodpecker, last year. I'm calling DES as open challenge as pre-K5 tourney which I'm not eligible to play this time.

Does DES has a big balls to step up a challenge for pre-K5 tourney or he isn't ready for K5, yet.

I don't think it is a hour, yet. More like half hour, so far. I got some few tricks in my sleeve that you haven't seen it, yet. Also, I want to see if anybody could survive beyond stage 25. :D

Well! At least somebody got to beat Brian's 200k score beside me. I don't really care if anybody or DES can copy my patterns or modify my patterns, but try to get to Level 25 or beyond! :) I could possibly could do Level 30 or beyond. We'll see...

Later,

Actual scan of the much-coveted mousepad:

I know that'll drive submissions through the roof.

Does it repeat that stage or go back to the beginning?

Next stages are repeat and from stage 93 four stages repeat only.
93-94-95-96
97-the same as 93
98-the same as 94
99-the same as 95
100-the same as 96
101-the same as 93
....
