Reward: $25 (usd)
Deadline for submission to MARP: July 1, 2005 2359 hours GMT
Further Bounty: none
Wasn't familiar with this one, but it looked interesting. A little research indicates that it was more popular on the Atari 5200 than it was in the arcade.
Turned out to be too tough for me. I couldn't get the hang of it at all. Way too often upon entering a room, I was dead before I could see what was going on. Ought to be a another good challenge for our top guns.
Use WolfMAME .97
Note well: You must use F1 five times to get past the language selection screen to the game. Using F3 takes you directly to the game, but does not get recorded in the inp file.
"On Deck" game: Food Fight

the Retrogames domain seems to be down entirely right now, so I'm uploading this here

BBH, I think you may be out of luck. From the GEGOTW Inferno thread:
Even if MARP stays down until midnight GMT, it won't have been down for a whole day.Weehawk wrote:We've been through this before and it's getting tiresome.destructor wrote:And about surprises made by MARP.
What when ztnet is down or something else and MARP is unavailable and I made good score at a few minuts before deadline?
To repeat myself:
Only serious outages at MARP (like a whole day or more) will possibly be cause for making an exception to the requirement for submitting before the deadline or making the submission to MARP. In such a case I will announce in this forum (if this forum is down check gegotw.net) if I choose to extend the deadline or accept submissions through other means.
It has been noted that you do not agree that this is the best policy.

Anyway, if MARP hadn't come back up quickly, I would have posted an announcement to allow recordings to be posted here until midnight.
I also added a rule to make things clearer in the original "Ground Rules" post, and one of these days I'll get around to making a Rules page at gegotw.net.
End of discussion.

I will decide whether alternate arrangements are necessary and will announce it if I do. Nobody else has any say in the matter.5) Recordings must be submitted to MARP and logged prior to the announced deadline unless otherwise announced by Weehawk (and ONLY Weehawk) in the marpirc.net or gegotw.net forums.
End of discussion.
