Uh... Gauntlet and Gauntlet 2 are probably a bit too similar to each other. Might be better to pick one or the other, and add a different game.

I think that is the same case of Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars or two "scrolling fighter", for example...

gaunts
xsleena
defender (i´m very bad but i like to see games)

Empire Strikes Back is something I'll look into, not being familiar with the game at all.

Only scrolling fighters (or beat-em-ups) I see listed are Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, and Combatribes. Both are very, very different.

Basically, same general genre is okay at this point, but obviously, games that are very much alike won't be allowed (like ssf2 and ss2ft, or Gauntlet and Gauntlet 2)

My logic is to get either starwars or esb in...
Yes, esb is a close relative(a sequel), has even same shared stage with starwars: tie-fighter stage(although enemy behaviour is lot different).

I didn't take jedi.zip as my thiord choice, because it would be too hard to control for average gamer without analog joystick. However I was tempted.

Ok, I've looked at ESB and it looks to be different enough to be allowable at this point.

Of course, if they both get into the top of the random draw, then the lower ranked one will certainly be out. Same goes for ssf2t and dstlk too.

Ok... but certainly 2 puzzle games, or 2 maze games will have the same regard here...

I'd question the speed required to run Monster Farm Jump at 100%. While in-game, it's not toooo bad (as far as PSX-based games go), but it's still gonna require 2.5GHz or so for full speed. And the high resolution title and menus will slow it down lots, regardless of system speed. (Which is why no one's submitted any Rival Schools / Justice Gakuen inps to MARP ;))

Phil, I'll let you change that game choice if you wish to.

Ok, replace it by "powerbal" (or better : powerbls ; 1 life more, and game is hard)
