Telling him to just play while you don't even know what he is dealing with is not a solution. I'm sure BBH knew his real-life situation would happen. Yeah...
Maybe this Final can be postponed and at a later date, BBH and shoe-sama can play a different week with a different game.

Re: K8 - Round 6 - Pipe Dream (pipedrmj)
just gives the win to a random player who only had the luck to not engage him in the previous rounds. I would never, NEVER accept a "victory" like that. Shoe-sama is an exceptional player, far from random. I've known him for quite a few years now. He had the top score overall 3/7 rounds, ...

Re: The official awesome replay thread
It's not improving upon the original, it's making it comparable. Someone needs to do some tests and get some concrete numbers, somehow. A problem that is actually serious here at MARP is the current rules for 90% minimum average speed and 95% during tournaments. It should be 99%, 90 and 95 is an abs...

Re: The official awesome replay thread
Falsificare can also mean to falsify or forge. A form of cheating. What's up shmups. OS overhead (and peripheral latency) add lag. With sprite/layer buffering removed, the lag is more accurate to what the actual PCB has since the actual PCB doesn't have to worry about OS overhead and peripheral late...

Falsificare? :PKale wrote:If he's the same guy with the inp recently uploaded on MARP, he's cheating, period.
Why are you saying he's cheating? You can't just make a claim without a reason.

Open the spot up to me and anyone else and whoever has the highest score takes that spot in the bracket. ;)

Re: K8 - Round 2 - Puzzle Bobble 2 (pbobble2j)
I never thought rewarding people with points throughout the week was a good idea - it just can lead to, once again, the inevitable "let me hold my score until the deadline," except it can now potentially happen multiple times a round instead of just once. These knockout tournaments could b...

Some security is good, after some point it isn't anymore helpful than less encryption is, though. You cannot develop a cheat-less system, it will always be possible to use hardware or software macros which are completely external to the system and are undetectable. The only fool proof system would b...

Ignoring whatever infinite leeching there is, bbh and pac could have both had more points by not getting hit and utilizing better point maximizing tactics. They did some, but it's definitely improvable.

Some knowledgeable people told me that OS overhead (and peripheral latency) add even more lag. With sprite/layer buffering removed, the lag would be more accurate to what the actual PCB has.
