Re: MARP.dat - is there a recent file?
As an alternative, you can download http://replay.marpirc.net/txt/scores3.htm to your MAME folder, and you can view at least the top 3 scores for whatever game you're play in MAME via the External DAT View menu.

Re: Question regarding recording/playback of inps
Updated ui.tcl to actually work now. You can simply update the contents of ui.tcl with this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mahlemiut/wolfmame/196f84bb9d182799ad7ac74ea3357b4470c5733e/ui.tcl Do note that devices will show up in the list also (because they show up in -listfull output, for reasons)...

Re: Question regarding recording/playback of inps
The problem with MAMEUI is that it is very much Windows-only, and would require an extra code base to build and maintain. There is a very basic Tcl/Tk frontend included, which works across platforms (it needs a bit of fixing, I haven't updated it since doing full MAME builds), but this does require ...

Re: Question regarding recording/playback of inps
Through a command prompt. MS-DOS hasn't really been much of a thing certainly since XP. Batch files (record.bat and playback.bat) are provided to help. Syntax is: record <gamename> <INP filename> [optional settings] The batch file will had the .inp extension for you, MAME doesn't do that. There is a...

Re: TK2012 / PP
As far as contcircj goes, I'm not seeing the issue, he took a hit before reaching the score, the car blew up afterwards, at which point time ran out. Haven't watched the others as yet. As for the versions he uses, he tells me he just uses whatever version others used for that specific game. (Althoug...

Re: Question regarding recording/playback of inps
They were removed due to it getting difficult to keep it working with the mewui code, without having to completely re-write it, which at the time was constantly changing.
Now that that has settled down, maybe it's time to try to it again?

Re: Super Off Road rev 3
Unfortunately, you can't check your score until all credits are used up, it will simply start a new game immediately after the continue timer. If you do nothing at initial entry, it goes into demo mode, and eats up a credit (you can take control if you want). Best way to just use 1 credit would be t...

Super Off Road rev 3
http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/d/a/6/xyn_offroad3_1038000_wolf195.zip This version defaults to 4 credits per coin (it actually just uses the same default EEPROM data as the other revision, including the Track Pack, so the format of the data stored likely changed between rev 3 and 4). Should we allow ...

Re: WolfMAME 0.194
Update: Kale has provided me with a Windows binary, so it is now available at github. https://github.com/mahlemiut/wolfmame/releases/tag/wolf194 I'll update the news page tomorrow probably, I'm a bit short on time at the moment. EDIT: Fixed archive, exe was put in the wrong place and I failed to not...

WolfMAME 0.194
Just a note to say that binaries for WolfMAME 0.194 won't be immediately available, due to the MinGW cross-compiler I use deciding to no longer work. I'll have to come up some other way to get a working cross-compiler. I'll build a full native (Linux 64-bit) version, and if that works (no reason it ...

Re: TK2012 / PP
Maybe when Zwaxy writes a "Ban this user" button. I think it would take altering the scripts to effectively ban someone.

TK tells me that he used 0.78 for pacgal-fast because the fast feature in not in later versions (I guess that's why it's archived?). Not that that explains any others, however.

Looks like the automatic redirection for /r/gamename URLs isn't working anymore. :/
You can use the search page for now to look up specific games.

Re: TK2012 / PP
It's the easiest method, really. There is no simple function for moving recording from one account to the other. Zwaxy could probably do it via MySQL perhaps, but he's not exactly active much these days. They were willing to do the move, so why not?

I guess the "Transfer is now complete" comment means it is over now?
