I personally think the 24h rule needs to be amended. Not thrown out altogether but cleaned up some. The rule is there so players will feel compelled to submit a score that they feel they may not be able to better later. Oh yes, for this competition Phils rules should stand. And to scratch this game after 6 days of people competing in it is just assanine.

I think alot of this discussion is on how to judge the scoring for this game in the future, not for this week, which has already been set by Phil.

I think stage is better in this game, it shows how your true mastery of the game. Ahh I agree but the true Master is the one who can complete each level with the fastest time, resulting in more points. So I dont think points should be disreguarded altogether. Maybe a better solution would be to use...

why not disqualify any recording where a stage has been completed with more than 1 minute ? I don't like this idea, Ive had a recorings where after reaching a new level I haven't been on before like level 16, it took some time time, just over a minute because the level is much faster and track gets...
