Neil, by no means was I trying to reduce your accomplishment. I fully understand why you played your perfect game the way you did. And it has always been my understanding that Billy Mitchell started the trend of using two additional men. I am just wondering why it was allowed in the first place. As ...

I am very curious as to how the number of lives on Pac Man ever was allowed to be extended to 5. I don't EVER recall seeing a coin-op Pac Man having more or less than 3 lives to start with. I'm in total disagreement with TG's number of lives policy for this title. Anyone want to enlighten me as to w...

I don't recall hearing the Rockets. It appears their stuff would be next to impossible to find here in the US. I saw a brief bio on the band and I'm sorry I missed them! But, it looks like their following was mainly in Italy and France. I "discovered" Lothar and the Hand People while manag...

Good to see Kraftwerk's fans are still alive and kicking. Nice quote, Al. Perhaps you would be interested in Lothar and the Hand People, too...

Des, is there a reason that your inp is dated 5-6-2000? Excellent movement in avoiding falling girders. I see where you could have done much better tho'.

reference

Obscure Freidman reference in the final part of those lyrics. Care to explain the reference? I missed it. The "lucky stars" part is similar to Dean Freidman's (actually Friedman) followup hit to his US top 40 song, "Ariel", from 1977. Yes...ancient history to most of you. ;-)

Wonderful Dean Freidman tribute band. ;-)

Obscure Freidman reference in the final part of those lyrics. I believe there are only a handful of us that remember the ACTUAL Dean Freidman.

Well done, indeed. Took nearly 4 years for Mark to get bumped...nice hold on the top spot for that length of time, Mark.

Gary's right. Wave 33 can make or break a great game. Unless you start off wrong on a later wave like I did!

=D>

Applause is in order for Lord Gaz.

My best guess would be that the Asian setting is likely Tokyo or another major city in Japan. Shame on you for not getting Chicago the first time through! ;-)

JG, did you learn anything new from the guide? :P I did, for sure! Played the game little before(like everybody should have!), my tactics being sometimes very different, going up too much... Too bad that one week is perhaps too small time to learn the game well enough to beat top-marpers at Joust. ...

Kyle's how-to guide is very good. He covers all major aspects of the game. The biggest thing with this game is the amount of practice it takes to gain masterful hovering control. Concepts are good, but execution is a whole different thing as this game is devoid of patterns...only tendencies. Good lu...
