I've played mainly guitar for 30 years now, but have played bass also during that time off and on. What do you need to know?

The Bishop of Battle was part of an anthology movie titled "Nightmares" from 1983. The kid playing the part of the gamer was none other than Emilio Estevez. Very entertaining to those of us into the arcade scene. I couldn't stop laughing when the game taunted prospective players to "....

I hope I did not offend you btw. It was only meant as a joke :) No offense at all. I was admittedly not the same as most others at that time. Funny thing is that we played hard rock (Nugent, Aerosmith, UFO, etc.) and that was even MORE likely to attract that kind of drug and alcohol usage. I was co...

Yup. I'd laugh, too. But it wasn't I who did the weed...among other things. 8O As a musician in those days, I was probably the oddest of all breeds in that I did not go through the typical drugs/alcohol syndrome that seems to be the musician stereotype (and for good reason that stereotype exists!). ...

OK. OK. Quadraphonic sound was introduced to the mainstream in the early 70s. It basically provided re-mixed versions of regular albums/records that could be heard through a 4-speaker system and receiver/amp that had the circuitry to translate the sound to the speakers. Very fun stuff. Lots of swirl...

What part of "quad cassettes never existed" did you not understand?

4 speakers does not automatically make it "quad".

Argh!

I apologize, Dan, if I seemed to not enjoy your work on this. The other game maps were very unique and impressive! Those involved scrolling scenes and it was great seeing the entire picture. However, with Burgertime being non-scrolling/ static playfield, I guess I was thinking I was missing somethin...

Hmmm...Burgertime is merely screen shots of each level? What gives? I feel I must be missing something here.

For any MARPers lamenting the lack of pinball and can make travel arrangements, read the following e-mail I received yesterday. I've attended this event before and it's incredible what this guy has in his storage building behind his house. Has to be seen to be believed! ----- Original Message -----...

Tongue was firmly planted in cheek with my "old" comment. Older, yes...too old, no. I have no problems with reaction time. I'm still at the top of my game as far as being a pitcher in softball. Trust me, if you have poor reaction time, you have no business being in that position as you wil...

Fair enough, Mark. Maybe I should just take your style of commentary as though you were auditioning for a spot on the WWE roster. ;-) Yes, it can come across as a bit pompous/rude...but, I give you respect for you noting this yourself. There's nothing more annoying than someone coming across as pomp...

The reason I have not decimated the so-so scores on MARP is, like a lot of games out there, an issue of the controller. Gee, thanks for bringing a dose of humility to MARP. While not all MARP CC scores are great, they are hardly "so-so". Please don't talk about decimation, just do it and ...
