700mhz. Hopefully the games selected would run at 95%-100% speed on even this fossil of a computer. Space Bomber would also be a problem for me speedwise (partially because of the horrible lag at 2-3), which is a shame because I like that game.

90% is good enough (95% reserved for tournaments, of course). Not all of us have supercomputers, and as MAME grows, the requirements for full speed grow higher as well.
