Deleted a ton of inactive users
Thanks to some prodding from GB9, I got around to deleting all of the users with no posts and no login activity. Deleted rows: 1892 (Query took 0.1573 sec) I apologize if this hit any actual accounts, but I think that should have been kept to a minimum since anyone using it has probably logged in at...

IMPORTANT - regarding google ads...
Ok, so who was apparently either using some program to generate ad clicks, or otherwise doing non-normal things to generate clicks? I received an email this morning saying my account is disabled because of it, and anything added to my account will be returned to the advertisers. From their Program P...

Now hurry up and get the two games that are the main reason for getting a n64: Zelda and mario 64! I bought mine a few years back only because these two games. I don't think I have played many others on that system actually :) Zelda was the main reason I got a N64 from someone. Not long after, I ha...

If I click on the PayPal button on the MARP news page does the donation go to the same place for keeping the forums and the marp database hosted? do you know if the same person clicks the same link on the same machine multiple times will that count as multiple google clicks or not? clickbot! IIRC, those multiple clicks will become null and void if they're by the same IP, within a set time period. Not sure if it's one click per IP every 24 ho...

Webhosting service renewal - Thanks!
Just a head up - my hosting for marpirc.net will be up for renewal on March 2, 2005. I'm still in awe of, and greatly appreciate, the response I received last year when we were having massive server problems. You guys rule :) If you wish to help out more, feel free to donate towards hosting costs vi...
There was a virus doing the rounds last week or so that attacked phpBB's - is that what you were referring to? Apparently, it puts something in place of the usual board front-end or something... Dunno :) Yeah, it was something like that. Dreamhost sent out an announcement about it, but I never read...
where is seymour ? Hiding! :) I mean... busy. Yeah, that's it. I did check some of the IPs that were showing up as Guests the other day, a few of them looked to be coming from Google. But I didn't feel like checking 50+ of them. Has anything worse-than-usual been happening lately because of it? Or ...

Non active users
I just deleted probably 50 or so users that have never had any activity on the site whatsoever. A lot of those are probably from spammers, others may have signed up and never did anything else. If your account was one of them, feel free to register again. I'm just cleaning up the forums a little.
