Nah, I think I played it once or twice at Funspot but that's it. I probably wouldn't do well on the actual machine because spinner, but mouse is easy for me.

Ah there we go, I was combining the 2, putting mouse 1 in command line.

So back to my original question, how did you get the mouse working? I sometimes see mouse x on the input page but with no effect and can't seem to add any mouse based inputs.

I use a game controller with an analog joystick. Yes, braking is required for some areas if you want to get through optimally.
