Hmm . . .

I played it on easy and, near as I can remember, easy ends on like Level 14 with a big Boss-like thing.

Unless you keep going after the boss; I never made it through.

Anyone? Bueller?

Tempest Strategy ("Leeching"?)

I have not watched any of the top .inps to see if other players do it, rather, I have a question about a technique I use in playing Tempest. When things start to get hairy I will sit in one place and fire quickly. Is this an accepted strategy or is it considered "leeching"? Or does it depe...

MiniGolf inps

Miguel351's 2nd Place score is complete BS. He claims 65,000 but it's a game where he quits at 17,500 Maybe he uploaded the wrong game? I couldn't get German Krol's 61,000 to work either -- it was an infinite loop of the reset sequence. Am I doing something wrong here? Neither of these have been con...

Eveidently the .inp I watched had the wrong settings.

TG says 3 men, extra every $20,000, so that's what I'm going to use.

Boy, I am eating some serious crow on this title. For years I've claimed that some of the higher scores were impossible to reach because the math didn't work and the simple fact that you always die on the fourth building. Then I watched an .inp yesterday where somebody made it through the 4th...

Evidently, it's 4 cars at the start, no extras.

If this is wrong, please let me know.

Default Settings For Thief?

After some searching, I found Mark's TG tournament settings file (the link located here needs updated, BTW). Thief is not in there. Before I start downloading other versions to watch other players, can anyone tell me what the proper settings are? There are a lot of possibilities. Sorry to be such a ...

Never mind. I just deleted the directory. Duh.

Can anyone tell me the default settings for Thief?

The link to Mark's site doesn't work.

If I delete the NVRAM file each time before I record a game, will I be OK? I noticed that Cloak and Dagger recreates a new one after every time I ESC out to record the inp. (I'm using MAME for Win32 .37 Beta 13.) If it doesn't, then I'll start playing Thief again. It doesn't create an NVRAM file. G

Thank you. I couldn't find any reason.

Just out of curiosity, what does the NVRAM have to do with gameplay?
