The author of EmuLoader said this about the error I'm getting:

This error code is caused by a corrupt mame.exe, it's not caused by Emu Loader.

Works fine when using the internal GUI, but crashes when used with EmuLoader. Standard MAME 0.173 works fine in EL, so it seems that wolf173 is the problem. Yes, I know that already, but which one? There are two, "US MVS (Ver. 1)" and "US MVS (Ver. 2?)". Or does it not matter?

1. There's no "Every 1000K" setting for the Bonus Life in Battle Garegga. The only choices are "None" and "Every 2000K".

No trouble here with Wolf106 in Win7 x64. Unless you're 100% certain Windows Update is causing a problem, I recommend leaving it on.
