I don't doubt the validity of the recording, but if I'm not able to play it back on my computer regardless of which version and how I tweak it, doesn't that defeat the very purpose of the site? That's what I've gotten out of this thread so far - that regardless of what I do, I won't be able to play ...

Thanks

I use MAME on a 1.2 ghz Athlon running under Windows ME. I'll
try running the non-32 version of Alphamame and see if that makes
any difference.

Cloak and Dagger

Anyone discover any magic settings to get this to playback yet?
I'd really like to see the input where this title is finished.

Wireless PS/2 X-Arcade

A friend of mine has an X-Arcade controller, and is trying to make
it wireless. The arrangement is that it plugs into the PS/2 port,
and your keyboard plugs into the X-Arcade controller. So what he's
looking for is a wireless PS/2 relay. Does such a thing exist, or
barring that, any other ideas?

Major Havoc "finger trick"

Could someone explain this to me? It's along the lines of the Paperboy
bug, but that's all I know.

Iron Horse

Any tips? The boss is easy, but I've never found a way to not have the
bombs fire at the of stages 1-2 on up. Sometimes they just don't.
Is the Japanese version easier?

Noooo!

Iron Horse 387,600 ... :(

I opted to play on after screwing around and losing 8,000 between
1-1 and 1-2, and of course that 8,000 would have given me the #1
score.

I made it almost to the end of 2-4, btw.

Name this MAME game

I recall playing this game on MAME which had as the play board a circuit
diagram (as in an electrical circuit). Does anyone know which games I'm
referrring to?

No, that's not leeching at all. That strategy will help you get through the orange levels, but once you get to the yellow levels and above you'll have to move around quite a bit (because of the fuseball tankers). In fact, staying in one place like that is bad for your skills in the long run, since y...

Does MAME emulate the original Breakout yet? If not, is it on the
agenda? I remember when Super Breakout was new in my local
arcade.
