Yours (with your "Ummm") was suspicious and so, insultant ; that's kind of manner I don't like Quit turning things around. You made an error. You WANT to take my "ummm" as suspicious...don't know why. Here's why there was such an "ummm". You are a senior contributor/me...

That's all good and fine, Rick. The obvious correct deletion was done. I only wanted to point out that I'm not receptive to others (especially experienced MARPers) pleading innocent in such a manner. Don't put the blame on us in the form of "I didn't know.". If a mistake is made. Fine. Jus...

Great job! I watched and saw a very nice last-second scorpion kill. This is going to be tough to raise the bar. 50K seems almost unattainable.

You remember incorrectly in regards to centipd2. I had a score of 140K in 1999 and that was beaten later in the same year with a score of 236K. All Centipede games have had a 200K+ score for over 4 years with the exception of the newer ones (magworm and millpac), of course. Please do not yell at us ...

ummm...special rule is where it has always been. I don't recall it being hidden or new for this clone. Surely anyone cruising through the Centipede games has to wonder why the scores for centtime are significantly lower than all others. Thus, one might want to check the special rules.

Agree, John. This guy has put in some serious work. He obviously is an experienced gamer as he seems quite familiar with the medium he is working with. Nice find.

it's all in the semantics

I never gave it much thought at the time, but I feel that the wording may be the biggest problem for this issue. I know it's been mentioned before. The way it stands now (where the minority can actually gain their goals without having a majority consensus) is like saying Ralph Nader should have gott...

For what it's worth

I'm torn between two choices here. Only because this is a unique case among most all other games of MAME. While it is frowned upon in general here at MARP to modify games in this manner, I think this case deserves a closer look. It appears that TG doesn't have a stance on this instance. However, TG ...

:( I'm not trying to cause an arguement but just because I feel any techniques (aka arcade conditions) should be allowed??? (see HS thread :P) doesn't mean I don't see it from the other point of view. But if voting no is unbelievable, why put the fckin option in the poll in the first place!!? The o...

A definite "no"...

After watching the technique in question, there is no doubt that this is pretty weak. It ranks right up there with pterry hunting in Joust. At least in Joust you have to play a fairly decent game to get to that point where the lava troll takes a firm enough hold on the final enemy. It appears that a...

Re: Civility at MARP?

DEFCON=2 OK. Who put the LSD in my water? I think I just saw a civil dialogue between a couple of MARPers who have had less than kind words for each other in the past. That's more like it. Tell me I'm not hallucinating... ] So what? I just show some information as usual. not more than. if you hate ...

Good to see you back here at MARP, Cicca. Now all we need is Angry, Krool and JSW among others to find their way back... (BeeJay is kinda back at times ;-))

Ok, you didn't need to write a novel about the game. I'm very familiar with the game. I once met Eric Ginner and knew of his many scores. All you had to say is that's where you have a small group of mushrooms together to keep the fleas from dropping and together so it minimizes the affect on the ce...

The brief flash at the beginning of invisible wall levels is too brief. Much easier to mark the entrance during the early stages. Spinning with the vortex is a myth that I believed in for years. Shows what experimenting "outside the box" can do for you. Another thing that really caught my ...
