Can't one of those 'fill in the deformed letters/#'s' boxes be put into the registration process...There's a special name for them, but I'm drawing a blank. It seems to work for some sites.

Hey, if you've got a spare, I'd buy it. All I'd need is the pcb with leader wires...but I'll try to fix this one first; a spare is always nice. I've toyed with the idea of MAMEing my ROTJ cockpit, but just can't bring myself to do it. Ironically, this yoke is from a Stun Runner. I never played it mu...

The menu in the gui with the box of joystick options...aren't clickable. I didn't install any softwafe for the dualstrike...just plugged it in, and xp said it was now installed. I'll look around and see if I can find the cd that came with it(bought it 2 years ago), but it worked before I hacked it, ...

Classic Arcade Gaming Dot Com Contest

Mark Alpiger is holding his 2nd annual CAGDC tourney at Challenge Arcade in Reading, PA. http://www.classicarcadegaming.com/contests/CAGDCT2007/index.htm This should be a great weekend trip. All the games and info is well laid out on the contest page. I'm hopeful to be there, and Star Wars is in the...

Ok, even crossing the wires directly for firing does nothing, so I must need to re-map some buttons. How do I do that? The menu that appears to be needed for this is 'greyed out'. I found the problem with the up/down, but will have to fix a damaged trace/connection point on the pcb. I hope radioshac...

You are correct. I called MDA, and he says even if he was tortured, wouldn't be able to recall if 3/5 at the contest. I just assumed(wrongly evidently) that ROTJ just kept on going like the others; didn't know there was an ending to it. Another assumption is that the factory settings for the upright...

I was wrong about Palmer; he didn't like ROTJ. MDA says it was Sullivan, but he(MDA) thinks the scores were done on 3 lives and easy. The manual I have does show default settings to be: 5lives, 40k extra and medium difficulty. I've got my game set on medium 30k extra and 3lives to start. MAME menu d...

ROTJ doesn't allow for more than 3 starting, or any difficulty settings beyond the in game choice of starting waves. I didn't find any mame scores on TG, but did notice that David Palmer isn't even listed for it any longer under arcade. If you just cruise along the right side, all you have to do is ...

Doh! I only deleted starwars config and not the 'default' as was suggested..this did bring the menu up with tab now. This also allowed me to do the flipping I wanted...now to test.

My best at TGTS(6+0) is around 16.9mil, but my most current 'official'/verified score with TG is 5.1mil, played at the funspot contest. I just sold my SW/ESB upright to David Palmer, who holds the TGTS records on SW, ESB and ROTJ, so I need a fix. My best on that machine was under 9mil SW and 600k o...

Giving some play on Star Wars, but the control sucks. I just picked up a yoke control from a stun runner and will attempt the dualstrike conversion. I started earlier tonight, but was foiled by my broken soldering gun  I've got a pencil somewhere, but I may just have to get another. I hadn't c...

Axis flipping...how?

I was looking in the controller options and couldn't find an option(that wasn't 'grayed out') to change. Specifically, I want to know how to flip the y-axis on my mouse for a couple of games; being able to flip the x-axis would be 'ok', but I'd have to use the mouse upside down. I'm working with mam...

I've been off the forums for a while, and didn't realize there had been problems till now. BBH is right about the points/de-synch issues. Sometimes I have to delete the .cfg files, others, not. I notice sometimes it awards 490 instead of the usual 495 on round 1. The 490 ones usually don't playback,...
