Congratulations To MiAsia For Awesome Rtype2 Inps

I am amazed at the quality of the recordings that are being submitted on MARP. MiAsia's first MARP contribution was a stunning kengo recording http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/mirepla_kengo_3036800_win53.zip. He has now followed that up with 2 superb rtype2 recordings: http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/m...

I've just seen the 753.8 Million score on Dodonpachi that BBH was talking about above. I'm still in shock. Simply stunning beyond belief. I can't understand how the player Aichi-Ken avoids the bullets so well. He obtained 850+ hit combo's on 4 occassion over the 6x2+1=13 levels. I've never seen leve...

Thanks Gameboy9 for all your efforts over the past couple of years, you've set a high standard for the any new editors to strive for. I wish you luck in your studies. I must say your travel time to college is wicked, maybe a MAME laptop is in order for those long trips ;-) BTW what are you studying?...

I think the point Phil is trying to make is that the 'posts since last visit' works by reloading ALL of the corresponding thread for each associated new post. E.g. over the course of a discussion involving many posts he has to reload the earlier posts many many times even though he's already read th...

These scores are incredible. What sort of proof is there of these scores? Several scores are from up to 3-4 years ago. Are there inp's available for any of these? I had a lot of trouble finding information due to translation difficulties. The best I could find were high score tables for some games. ...

:( No luck here. Using standard issue (Win 32 bit console) MAME 0.59 under Win2000 I get perfect playback to 8.3 Million Stage 20 at the Spider Boss after which it desynch's. Damn I wish the recording function in MAME was more reliable, it's a crying shame to see a great inp like this one cut down i...

I wasn't particularly offended by the leeching - it appeared to be pretty minor to me. I don't understand the game fully though. Does the game have an ending?

All 3 fail for me.
sbbros desynchs on 1-5 at score 217,000.
konami88 fouls out of the long jump.
ssideki3 doesn't even start.

Problems With The MARP link To This Bulletin Board

:( The standard installation of IE6 will not allow the use of cookies from the current marp board link because forums.marpirc.net is being accessed from within the MARP frame. Can a direct link please be provided? This is going to cause problems for IE users who won't understand why they aren't know...
