Can we keep the recording exhibiting this trick and put it on the "Tricks, Easter Eggs, Bugs" page. At least one example of the trick should be kept on MARP for posterity. While we are at it, what is the view on the "make Mario small with firepower" trick. This is done by landing...

You call that a 'good' review, I'd hate to see your idea of a bad review for this game. The guy compared the experience of playing this game with 'getting the plague or syphilus'! I've never seen a game given such a bad review.

Nice work Vaz. The screenies for Mahjong Chinmoku no Hentai were a real eye opener - Japanese to English translation most amusing too.

Cheers,

What Happened To The 'Weird' Page

MARP used to have a weird page where you could download inp's showing unusual and buggy features of arcade games (native problems not emulation problems). I thought I'd have a look tonight and was surprised not to see it anywhere. What happened to it? I sincerely hope that I've just overlooked it an...

Using MAME32 .37b16 with current (MAME 0.60) roms works perfectly - I just tested on both the games you mentioned. I recall there was a reorg of the neogeo BIOS a few releases ago. It might be that those missing roms need to go into the neogeo.zip. Don't bother unzipping files. Just make sure the ri...

What recording are you trying to playback - one from MARP or one of your own? Remember you must replay recordings back with the same mame exe's that produced the inp file in the first place. Even then, sometimes recordings don't always playback correctly (rare).

Ok, I pressed play for a game then an error message comes up. It reads required files are missing, the game cannot be run. Phil, Is there a mame.ini file in your mame60 folder with the mame.exe file? If not then open a command window and enter "mame -cc" at the command prompt (without the...

There are multitudes of leech points for pc_cvnia. You can go back and forth b/w screens and rekill enemies, stand in one spot and strike enemy shots indefinitely etc. The holy water multiplier is the best by far though. Using that power makes all but the last enemy a joke - the Grim Reaper and Medu...

MAME and MAME32 seem to be very similar since the 32 bit console core became standard - if an inp plays back on on one then it plays back on the other. Has anyone found any exceptions? I agree that dosmame should be separated and mame/mame32 combined.

Thanks a lot guys for the help. I downloaded official dmame0.59 and with a standard cfg could playback DDR's excellent recording completely - albeit without sound from my Win2000 machine. This illustrates that mame and dmame need to be split from the dropdown list on the submit page. As we've all no...

MOMOJIROU's inp is incredible but it can be improved upon or matched. He didn't actually kill all enemies, missed a couple in spots in the last two levels. The 490K score will take some beating though as the leeching was comprehensive and almost complete. Go after some of the clones instead.

I see no reason why this couldn't be an option for those with bandwith problems - i.e. on slow dialup. I think there should be an option to select which group you'd like get emails for as you might not want to follow every group by email.
