Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

Initially I thought it was a poor PC available, but so many years later is he still using it? Of course I think we agree the point is not what you have or can afford, but what you decide to play. If the device is weak and there's nothing (fair) you can do about it, then you should accept (like I ha...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

TK tells me: For anyone who will play these games speed is 99-100%. Other recordings of saulonpb have 99-100%. So its not about weak hardware, its about software. Besides saulonpb has a great past in cheating. If you allow him to go on this way, he will really go on this way. At least in all his fu...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

After TK wrote about the speed peaks on saulon's 1941 replay, I checked that and a few others. (why I decided that my time was better spent on looking at replays suspected of flaws rather than good replays, I don't know for sure) The 1941r1 replay is kinda fine, yes there are crazy peaks down to 25%...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

New one, P-47 Aces. http://replay.marpirc.net/r/p47aces http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/b/9/b/snpb_p47aces_404560_wolf177.zip As he claimed wolf177 (I didn't view it), the submission is again in wrong place, as current p47aces has been introduced in mame 0.219, renaming old p47aces to p47acesa. Theref...

Re: Archive these games -topic

I'd suggest to archive ojankoca Ojanko Club (Japan, Program Ver. 1.2) http://replay.marpirc.net/r/ojankoca and ONLY this clone, the issues don't affect the parent romset. Ver. 1.2 isn't random and that's pretty much it. I submitted a replay to prove it (my moves tell that I'm not playing by logic) (...

Good replay, although there are two typos.
Claimed 58300, playbacks to 53800 to me.
Claimed wolf183, it's wolf181.

Submission shift request

Over at a discord server, I found out that MARP user LordCrix http://replay.marpirc.net/index.cgi?mode=search&player=^LordCrix$&highest_pos=1&per_game=100&show_betters=1&table=on&tourn=0&maxlines=999 would like to move an older submission into his account. He had a different account in the past, nam...

Re: ARCA project, arcade world record list (pdf document)

Okay... I have to say this. And when I say "I have", I really have to. I could say much more but I'll stick to the essential. As a public team-mate of Gemant, I do not approve of this behavior of his (i.e.: the insults). And also I don't really approve that NObody else ever said a word about it in t...

The score is correct, but sfex2 was renamed to sfex2u in Mame 0.210, so the submission should be moved to sfex2u.

Re: Archive these games -topic

ar_spot Spot (Arcadia, V 2.0) http://replay.marpirc.net/r/ar_spot This one could be archived as well. (I forgot to mention it before) There are limited moves since the credit ends after one match, the CPU isn't random either nor the sequence of available fields is. Not saying with 100% certainty tha...

Re: Archive these games -topic

Ngalsumr has been erroneously archived, this is not a bet mahjong (belongs to category C) Checked, this machine looks like it could be a BET as it has similarities with them but, at least with default settings, it is impossible to "bet" or even payout, you don't win credits but points. I would agre...

And I'd add also
telpacfl
TelePachi Fever Lion (V1.0)
because it's Pachinko, we did archive those as well.

pengadvb

There are two submissions, currently, on pengadvb romset [Penguin Adventure (bootleg of MSX version, encrypted)] http://replay.marpirc.net/r/pengadvb There are a few things to say about this game, in regards of credits and score. Hence why I'd suggest to put up a special box rules. (This topic would...

Forgot to mention
supgoal
Nerae! Super Goal (J 981218 V1.000)
which was mentioned by Phil.
Doesn't really matter that you can't get more than 1 medal... it's a medal game. Totally should be archived.

Re: Archive these games -topic

I'd like to remember to our dear TK2012 who is always around reading us, checking every little breath of us every day, that you forgot a "breath" of the past where in this topic we agreed to archive all Quiz games, with rarest exception due to level of objective interest / variety / difficulty of th...
