Re: Bogey Manor score clear and min. version setting
hmm... i must have tested wrong. you can still stun enemies without 'touching'--but the monsters are at least faster now and not so easy to manipulate. things start to get pretty intense by the 4th house

Re: Rules error on 'rackemup' and clones?
yeah, considered that--balancing the instant 100pts against that annoyance of putting in a score different from the high score table. it's not really a big deal--either way something is awkward.
that's fine, the older ones will need to be changed then. i'll sweep all the scores later.

Re: Why was cyberball (2p) archived?
there's no rush. bonnes vacances :) i would say put the length to a vote, but i don't think there are many sports game players left at MARP, so i'm not sure it would be much of a vote. i don't mind playing single game or 3mins--i just figured single game would bring it in line with the other sports ...

Rules error on 'rackemup' and clones?
I believe the original rules for these games was the rack *reached* + percentage, not racks 'completed' + percentage. this was mainly because this was how the high score board scored the game (in-game), and we could also easily check that we'd counted right from the high score table, simply transpos...

Re: Why was cyberball (2p) archived?
more to this still... i think by sports rules, these are actually supposed to be full games as well, now. having looked at the dips, there is a service mode where you can set up a 'free play' option. there's also a lot of coin manipulation and multiplier stuff which i'm not too clear about. the upsh...

i was just coming to that realization. so all of the .inps under these are either mislabelings or ASM versions. thrills.
thanks for the heads up, Barry.

Broken version links
Can someone patch the win36b12-14 links in the database? I don't have copies of any of these.
is it possible to merge Barry's page into the versions page, too, to clean up the site a bit?

The New Old Audit (win36 cycle)
Well, decided I might as well get busy and return to one of my old tasks. I'm auditing the entire non-confirmed .36 windows cycle at the moment, and would love if a couple of other confirmers/editors could run cleanup behind me, doing 2nd and 3rd strikes. Note that in most cases, I am not exhaustive...

Re: Bogey Manor score clear and min. version setting
normally i would say archive-easy, but the top replay in this case is pretty junky, since you can stun from anywhere (on normal you have to 'touch' to stun). after stunning, it''s just a matter of swording the enemy as much as possible. there's very little attempt to make progress in the game. so i ...

Why was cyberball (2p) archived?
I can't find (or remember) any rationale for this. Can someone explain? It's a fully functional game with a computer opponent.

Re: Ghosts n' Goblins revisited
no argument against introducing stages, but i would want that implemented wide-scale, as part of the site coding--not piecemeal. it would certainly resolve a lot of these issues--love that feature at HARP.
