then we have a problem...but here is my screenshot running the "nibbler" rom set in 145. so it seems there are different sets for nibbler in 145 that are not consistent. my older nibbler rom sets from 142u6 and earlier do not work with 145...so pretty sure this nibbler I got is a 145 versi...

I just happened to look at the Nibbler scores recently...to notice it seems at some point in recent versions of MAME the rom set names have changed...and labeling has changed evidently incorrectly even within 145. I still use wolfmame106 mostly and would be using 106 for any future nibbler play. MAR...

are you using a USB mouse? you maybe need to set mouse2 instead of mouse for your control.

yeah, at some point I will get an xbox 360 so I can play DX on that.
the past 2-3 weeks I have been in the top 3 globally for pacman CE's weekly challenge.
..still improving but generally just improvising in my gameplay...no patterns etc. as many develop as they play a challenge.

there still are a lot of games even with a fast system will use some frameskip...so yes make sure that is set to fixed.
frameskip 0 if you want to force all frames(no frameskip)
also, no way would I have vsync on....the game should run independently of your vsync.

I see lots of the pacman clones got eliminated with these filters...have to be careful here...many score differently or even have an early game end screen so the potential scores are not the same. take a game like the pacman clone piranha.... my scores are discredited with this filter cuz it's a clo...

At a guess, I'd say that the Quake cabinet doesn't use as powerful a CPU as those. true...but odds are was something like a 166-200 Mhz pentium 2 or something similar. so does mame have the 3dfx->opengl translator in it now to support the 3dfx games? if so...yeah with modern CPus it might run at le...

GAT, what are you doing man? no reason for what you just did in submitting all those 999,999,999 scores I see on the uploads page. if you are pissed at me that's fine. don't take it out on MARP.
